DESCRIPTION

2178712-6 is a male on wire connector from TE Connectivity's .050 centerline Micro-Match Value-line connector family, engineered for reliable wire-to-board interconnections. The connector features highly reliable gas-tight and corrosion-free connections through insulation displacement contacts, with a 1.27 mm pitch suitable for automatic pick and place assembly. It is available in 6-position configuration and supports standard ribbon cable connections with full range of application tooling from hand tools to fully automated equipment. This connector is ideal for industrial, consumer, and datacom applications including home automation, lighting, climate control, CCTV, and set-top boxes, where cost-effective and reliable interconnections are required.
