DESCRIPTION
The 2-1971862-1 is a socket connector kit (female) for the SOLARLOK PV4 connector system designed for photovoltaic and high-voltage DC applications. The kit includes socket contacts rated for cable conductor sizes of 4.0 mm²/AWG 12 and 6.0 mm²/AWG 10, with rated currents of 20A DC (UL) or 35A DC (TÜV) for the smaller conductor and 30A DC (UL) or 40A DC (TÜV) for the larger conductor, all at 85°C ambient temperature. The connector operates at a rated voltage of 1000V DC with IP 68 protection when mated, operates across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and features copper tin-plated contacts with a contact resistance of 0.5 mO and thermoplastic UL94-VO insulation. The assembly includes socket contacts, cable screw joints, pinch ring seals, metal clips, and O-rings, with torque gap specifications ranging from 1.25 mm to 1.65 mm depending on cable outer diameter.
