DESCRIPTION
2-328975-2 is a pre-insulated solderless terminal designed for reliable wire termination in control circuits and power wiring applications. This terminal accommodates 20-16 AWG wire sizes (0.50-1.42 mm²) and features a 3/8" stud size for secure connection. The terminal has a red insulation color for easy identification and includes dimensional specifications: width (W) of 0.172 inches, contact depth (C) of 0.131 inches, eye diameter (E) of 0.530 inches, and length (L) of 0.934 inches. The serration feature inside the terminal barrel provides exceptional barrel contact and tensile strength, while the special plating process creates high resistance to corrosion. These terminals are suitable for applications requiring UL, CSA, and Military-approved terminations with uniform high-quality results when used with AMP application tooling.
