DESCRIPTION
The 2335889-3 is an AMPLIMITE Size 3 D-subminiature plug connector featuring 25 contact positions and a passivated stainless steel shell housing designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 performance requirements. The connector utilizes a stainless steel shell with PPS and PBT inserts, copper alloy contacts plated with gold over nickel, and is available with standard 20 AWG or higher-density 22 AWG crimp contacts. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, this connector provides up to 500 hours of salt spray resistance, eliminating the need for toxic cadmium platings. The rugged construction and corrosion-resistant design make it ideal for demanding aerospace, defense, and marine applications where environmental durability and reliability are critical.
