DESCRIPTION
The 2335889-5 is an AMPLIMITE Size 5 D-subminiature plug connector featuring a 50-position contact configuration with a passivated stainless steel shell designed to meet MIL-DTL-24308 performance requirements. This connector eliminates the use of toxic cadmium platings while providing up to 500 hours of salt spray resistance, making it ideal for demanding aerospace, defense, and marine applications where corrosion resistance is critical. The connector is available with standard 20 AWG or higher-density 22 AWG crimp contacts to accommodate various wiring requirements.
