DESCRIPTION

2-338169-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D connector plug designed for right-angle PCB mounting with European standard footprint. This 15-position connector features a front metal-shell with tin plating for EMI/RFI shielding, M3 threaded inserts for mating hardware, and boardlocks for secure board mounting. The housing is made of black glass-filled polyester rated UL 94V-0 for flame retardancy, with phosphor bronze pin contacts plated with 0.76µm gold in the contact area. With a current rating of 6A maximum, dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum, and operating temperature range of -55°C to +105°C, this connector is suitable for industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable signal connections.
