DESCRIPTION

The 2-338170-2 is a 25-position AMPLIMITE subminiature D-Sub connector plug designed for right-angle board mounting with solder termination and M3 threaded inserts. The connector features a steel front shell with tin plating and black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. Contact materials consist of phosphor bronze pins and sockets with 0.76 µm gold plating in the mating area, delivering a current rating of 6A maximum and insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum, making it suitable for industrial control systems, test equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring robust interconnection in compact form factors.
