DESCRIPTION

2-35244-1 is a PLASTI-GRIP insulated butt splice designed to join copper wires in the 16–14 AWG range (1.25–2 mm² cross-section). The splice features a closed barrel with serrated interior for secure mechanical grip, tin plating for corrosion resistance, and a vinyl insulation sleeve with insulation support to protect the connection. It operates reliably at temperatures up to 90°C and is packaged in tape-mounted reels of 2000 units. This splice is commonly used in automotive, industrial, and general electrical wiring applications where reliable, cost-effective wire joining is required without sealability requirements.
