DESCRIPTION

2-640502-2 is a 12-circuit vertical PC board pin header designed for use in soft shell pin and socket connector systems. This header features duplex plating and is designed for 0.062 inch (1.57 mm) board thickness applications. The header has dimensions of 0.785 inches (19.94 mm) for dimension A and 0.120 inches (3.05 mm) for dimension B. It mates with socket housing part number 1-640522-0 and is part of the AMP Soft Shell connector family. This RoHS compliant component is suitable for wire-to-wire and wire-to-panel applications requiring reliable electrical connections.
