DESCRIPTION

2-644489-5 is an MTA-100 straight post header connector designed for wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnection applications. The header features 0.025 inch (0.64 mm) square posts with 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing and is available in multiple position configurations from 2 to 28 positions. The connector is constructed with standard UL94V-2 material and offers both tin-plated and gold-plated contact options, with gold-plated versions available in duplex configuration (gold on mating end, tin on solder tail). The header includes polarized retention pegs for secure mounting on printed circuit boards with recommended 0.062 inch (1.57 mm) thickness, and is compatible with MTA-100 and CST-100 II housings for reliable mating connections in industrial and commercial applications.
