DESCRIPTION
292132-8 is a through-hole (T/H) box-type vertical-mount connector header with kinked legs, part of TE Connectivity's AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch connector series. The header features tin plating and is designed for single-row wire-to-board interconnect applications with position configurations ranging from 2 to 15 circuits. It operates at 125 V AC/DC with operating current ratings of up to 4 A at 22 AWG, 2 A at 24 AWG, 2.5 A at 26 AWG, 1.5 A at 28 AWG, and 1 A at 30 AWG depending on wire gauge. The kinked leg design provides mechanical retention on printed circuit boards, while the box-type housing offers polarization and scooping resistance during mating and unmating. This connector is commonly used in digital data networks, industrial control systems, and harness applications where reliable discrete wire interconnection is required.
