DESCRIPTION
292250-8 is an 8-position through-hole box type horizontal mount PCB header from the AMP CT connector series, designed for wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications. This header features tin plating, kinked legs for secure PCB retention, and a 2.0 mm pitch configuration. The box-style design provides front and back walls for connector polarization, ensuring proper mating alignment. It is compatible with MT (mass terminated) housings such as 173977 and 179694, or crimp housings 179228 with appropriate contacts. This connector is ideal for digital data networks and general-purpose electronic applications requiring reliable miniature interconnect solutions.
