DESCRIPTION
292253-8 is an 8-position single row through-hole standard type post header designed for horizontal mounting with kinked legs for PCB self-retention. This connector is part of the AMP CT 2.0 mm pitch connector series, featuring tin plating and supporting wire-to-board and wire-to-wire interconnect applications. The header is compatible with both mass termination (MT) housings and crimp housings with contacts, accepting wire gauges from AWG 22-30. It is rated for 125 V AC operation and is RoHS compliant with UL recognition (File No. E28476) and CSA certification (File No. LR 7189). Common applications include business equipment, industrial machines, IoT/smart devices, PC peripherals, audio equipment, air conditioners, and LED lighting.
