DESCRIPTION
3-1625868-8 is an RP73 series SMD high-power precision resistor designed for demanding applications requiring high accuracy and stability. The resistor features tolerance down to 0.05% with temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) as low as 5 PPM, and supports power ratings up to 1.0W with operating voltages up to 200V DC. The device is constructed using a thin-film metal layer (NiCr) sputtered onto a high-grade alumina substrate, protected by three complete printed layers including an epoxy overcoat, and finished with electroplated 100% matte tin terminals. Available in multiple case sizes (0201 through 2512) with E96 and E24 series resistance values, the resistor offers accurate and uniform physical dimensions to minimize placement problems. Applications include communications, industrial controls, instrumentation, and medical devices where precision, stability, and high power dissipation are critical requirements.
