DESCRIPTION
The 3-176976-6 is an AMP Universal Power Connector 3-position tab header assembly designed for direct PCB mounting with a V-type kinking form. The header housing is constructed from 6/6 nylon glass-filled material (94V-O rated) with a CTI (Comparative Tracking Index) of 175, and features brass tin-plated tabs for reliable electrical contact. The connector is designed for 3.96 mm pitch configuration with applicable PCB thickness of 1.6 mm, and supports mating with 3.95 mm pitch 3-position plug housings. This connector is commonly used in power distribution applications requiring robust, compact interconnections with excellent electrical and mechanical reliability in industrial and consumer electronics.
