DESCRIPTION
3-338170-2 is a 25-position AMPLIMITE subminiature D-sub plug connector designed for right-angle board mounting with 4-40 screwlock mounting hardware and solder termination. The connector features a steel front shell with tin plating and black glass-filled polyester housing rated for UL 94V-0 flammability. It utilizes phosphor bronze contacts with 0.76 µm gold plating in the mating area, delivering a maximum current rating of 6A and insulation resistance of 5000 MO minimum. Operating across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with dielectric strength of 1000V AC minimum, this connector is well-suited for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring reliable high-density interconnections in compact form factors.
