DESCRIPTION
3-338312-2 is a 37-way subminiature D-type connector plug with boardlocks designed for solder termination and straight mounting. The connector features a steel front shell with tin plating and a black glass-filled polyester housing rated UL 94V-0 for flammability. Contacts are constructed from phosphor bronze with 0.76 µm gold plating on the contact area, providing reliable electrical connections with a maximum current rating of 6A. The connector operates across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and offers excellent electrical performance with 5000 MO minimum insulation resistance and 1000V AC dielectric strength. This connector is ideal for industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and data acquisition applications requiring robust, high-density interconnections in compact form factors.
