DESCRIPTION
The 34118 is a Solistrand terminal designed for electrical connections in industrial applications. It accommodates 16-14 AWG wire (1.04-2.62 mm²) and features an M4 stud size with a width of 0.385 inches (9.78 mm) and length of 0.685 inches (17.40 mm). The terminal is constructed of high-conductivity copper with a brazed seam and W-crimp design that provides high tensile strength and prevents wire pinching. It features a bell-mouth barrel entrance for easier wire insertion and reduced installation time, with a wire barrel minimum inside diameter of 0.085 inches (2.16 mm). The terminal meets or exceeds MIL Spec SAE AS7928 requirements (Type I, Class I) and is UL listed and CSA approved with a maximum operating temperature of 170°C. This terminal is ideal for use in material handling equipment, motors, heavy equipment, transformers, switchgear, telecommunications, appliances, panel boxes, power supplies, and control instruments.
