DESCRIPTION

The 345806-1 is a socket contact designed for the Econoseal III .070 Series waterproof connector system, engineered for automotive applications requiring sealed, rugged connections in extreme environmental conditions. This contact accommodates wire sizes from 0.75 to 2.00 mm² (18–14 AWG) with an insulation diameter range of 1.85–2.70 mm (0.073–1.06 inch) and is manufactured from copper alloy with tin plating for corrosion resistance. The contact is supplied in strip form with a package quantity of 6,000 units and is also available as loose pieces (1,000 units per package). The 345806-1 is commonly used in sensor wiring within motor hoods and electrical control system connections where protection against moisture, dust, corrosive gases, and liquids is essential to prevent premature contact degradation.
