DESCRIPTION

350829-4 is a 12-circuit socket header connector designed for 5.0 mm Power Key Connectors (5.0 PKC) wire-to-board applications. This connector features a duplex finish with .000030 inch minimum gold plating in the mating area and matte tin on the solder tail end over .000050 inch minimum nickel underplate on the entire contact. The connector has an A dimension of 1.050 inches (26.67 mm) and is rated UL94V-0 for flammability. It is designed to mate with standard tail plug housings and is part of the AMP Soft Shell Pin and Socket Connector family, which includes features such as a compact 19.4 mm mated height, double lock plate for complete contact loading, and protective walls surrounding locking levers to prevent wire tangling. This connector is commonly used in power circuits of home appliances, particularly gas appliances, where reliable electrical connections and compact design are essential.
