DESCRIPTION

36157 is a pre-insulated ring tongue terminal designed for reliable solderless wire termination in electrical applications. This terminal accommodates 16-14 AWG wire sizes (2.050-5.180 circular mils / 1.04-2.62 mm²) and features blue color-coded insulation for easy identification. Key dimensions include W: 0.343 in (8.71 mm), C: 0.281 in (7.14 mm), E: 0.685 in (17.40 mm), and L: 0.859 in (21.82 mm), with a maximum wire insulation diameter of 0.350 in (8.89 mm). The terminal features funnel entry for easy wire insertion, serration inside the barrel for exceptional contact and tensile strength, and special plating for high corrosion resistance. Ideal for control circuits and power wiring applications requiring UL, CSA, and Military approved terminations.
