DESCRIPTION
406525-1 is a PCB-mounted RJ45 modular jack designed for single-port, right-angle side entry applications in Ethernet networking. The connector features an inverted jack face with 8 positions and 8 loaded contacts, utilizing gold-plated mating contacts over phosphor bronze base material for reliable signal transmission. The housing is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and the connector is preloaded with solder tail contacts plated in tin-lead over nickel for wave soldering compatibility up to 240°C. With a height of 12.83 mm and PCB tail length of 2.54 mm, it is designed for through-hole soldering on 1.57 mm recommended PCB thickness. This connector is ideal for Fast Ethernet, 10Base-T Ethernet, and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet applications, offering ELV compliance and robust performance in industrial and commercial networking environments.
