DESCRIPTION
4-794629-2 is a dual-row surface-mount header connector designed for the Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system, supporting 2-24 position configurations with vertical orientation. This connector features SMT (surface-mount technology) compatibility with metal hold-down options and retention bumps on the solder tail for enhanced mechanical stability. The header accommodates wire-to-board connections with contacts on a 3mm centerline spacing and supports current ratings up to 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. It is compatible with 22-18 AWG wire (0.3-0.9 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79 mm, and is available with 15 µm gold plating. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact multi-position interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and telecommunications equipment where space efficiency and ease of assembly are critical.
