DESCRIPTION

4-794629-4 is a dual-row surface-mount header connector from the Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system designed for wire-to-board connections. This header features a 3mm (0.118 inch) centerline pitch with position configurations ranging from 2 to 24 positions, supporting both vertical and right-angle mounting orientations. The connector is compatible with 22-18 AWG wire (0.3-0.9 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79 mm, and is rated for a maximum current of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. The header includes surface-mount technology (SMT) compatibility with SMT hold-down features, metal hold-down options, and retention bumps on the solder tail for enhanced mechanical stability. This connector is ideal for applications requiring compact, reliable interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems where space efficiency and secure mating are essential.
