DESCRIPTION
499252-2 is a strain relief accessory designed for use with Ultra ATA bus ribbon cable connectors featuring a 0.025" (0.64 mm) centerline pitch. This 20-position strain relief provides mechanical support and cable management for ribbon cable assemblies, with key dimensions of A: 0.950" (24.13 mm), B: 1.180" (29.97 mm), and C: 0.900" (22.86 mm). The housing is constructed from glass-filled polyester in black color. It is designed to work with receptacle connectors that feature 40 signal contacts and 40 ground terminations to a special IDC bus bar.
