DESCRIPTION

The 499997-2 is a 14-position AMP-LATCH connector receptacle assembly designed for military applications with polarization capability. It features a preassembled housing with cover and optional strain relief, utilizing 2.54 mm (.100 inch) center spacing and accommodating 0.54 mm equivalent or round pins with lengths between 4.45 mm (.175 inch) minimum and 6.22 mm (.245 inch) maximum. The housing, cover, and strain relief are constructed from 94V-C rated black thermoplastic, while the contacts are made of phosphor bronze with duplex plating for enhanced durability and conductivity. The connector has overall dimensions of 16.51 mm (.650 inch) in length (A), 22.35 mm (.880 inch) in width (B), and 15.24 mm (6.00 inch) in height (C). This receptacle is suitable for applications requiring reliable interconnection in military and industrial environments where polarization and robust construction are essential.
