DESCRIPTION
5-103673-8 is a latching header connector with hold feature designed for single-row wire-to-board interconnection applications. It features a 0.100 inch [2.54 mm] centerline spacing and is part of the AMPMODU Mod IV interconnection system with dual cantilever contact beams and built-in anti-overstress features for reliable matings. The connector accepts 0.025 inch square or round posts and is available in multiple position configurations with various plating options including Plating A, B, and C finishes. Housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0, and the connector supports contact current ratings of 3 amperes with termination resistance of 12 milliohms maximum for beryllium copper contacts. This connector is commonly used in wire-to-board applications requiring secure latching and reliable electrical connections in industrial and commercial equipment.
