DESCRIPTION

5-103959-1 is a strip form receptacle assembly with polarized/latching design, part of the AMPMODU Interconnection System by TE Connectivity. This single-row connector features 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing and is designed for 30-26 AWG (0.05-0.15 mm²) wire applications. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0, with duplex plating consisting of 0.000010 inch (0.000254 mm) gold on the contact area and 0.000150-0.000300 inch (0.00381-0.00762 mm) matte tin on the solder area, all over 0.000050 inch (0.00127 mm) nickel. The receptacle contacts incorporate rectangular cross-sections with rounded corners and integral cantilever beams that contact mating square male posts, providing reliable electrical connection with tolerance for misalignment. This connector is commonly used in applications requiring secure, polarized interconnections in strip form configurations, offering end-to-end stackability and low-profile design.
