DESCRIPTION

5-103959-2 is a strip form receptacle assembly part of the AMPMODU Interconnection System, Mod IV series, designed for single-row, end-stackable applications with 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) centerline spacing. This 2-position receptacle assembly features insulation displacement contacts compatible with 26-22 AWG (0.12-0.3 mm²) wire and is available with multiple plating options (Plating A, B, or C) to meet various environmental and performance requirements. The housing is constructed from glass-filled thermoplastic rated 94V-0, with duplex gold and tin plating on contacts and nickel underplating for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. The assembly supports both standard and board retention configurations, with a typical contact point localized gold plate area and 0.100 inch (2.54 mm) spacing between positions. This product is commonly used in telecommunications, industrial control, and consumer electronics applications requiring reliable, compact interconnection solutions with end-to-end stackability.
