DESCRIPTION
The 5111008-9 is a 40-position vertical pin header connector designed for ribbon cable interconnect solutions with 0.050 inch (1.27 mm) centerline spacing. This connector features a low-profile design with a height of 1.900 inches (48.26 mm) and is manufactured without latches, allowing for direct soldering to PCB footprints of 2.54 mm x 1.27 mm staggered 2-row configuration. The connector terminates 30 AWG solid or stranded and 32 AWG stranded ribbon cable with PVC insulation, providing mass termination capabilities that eliminate the need for individual wire stripping. The product is RoHS compliant and recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL File No. E28476) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA File No. LR 7189), making it suitable for industrial equipment, board-to-board connections, and subsystem interconnect applications requiring reliable, space-efficient signal distribution.
