5-1478996-6 is a strain relief sleeve (boot) designed to protect and reinforce coaxial cable connections. This product is part of a modular family supporting three cable groups: Group 1 (RG174 and similar thin cables), Group 2 (RG58 and medium-diameter cables), and Group 3 (RG59 and larger-diameter cables). The sleeve features a tapered design with specific diameter specifications for each cable group, ranging from 3.2 mm to 6.4 mm at the narrow end (Diameter A) and 5.6 mm to 7.1 mm at the wide end (Diameter B), with a light spark finish for durability. Available in multiple color options (black, red, green, yellow, blue, white, orange) with optional logo printing, these sleeves are packed 10 per sealed plastic bag and 100 per box. Strain relief sleeves are essential for extending cable life, preventing kinks, and providing mechanical protection at connector interfaces in RF, telecommunications, and industrial applications.
