DESCRIPTION
5-1971773-7 is a high-temperature plug housing connector designed for the TE Connectivity POWER TRIPLE LOCK connector system. This component features a 1 x 5 configuration with 5 positions and a 6.0 mm centerline pitch, supporting wire-to-panel or wire-to-wire connections. The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material meeting glow wire test requirements per IEC 60335-1 and is rated for high-temperature operation at 150°C with a light gray color finish. The connector accommodates tin-plated copper alloy contacts and supports wire gauges from 19-16 AWG (0.65-1.3 mm²), with a voltage rating of 600 VAC/VDC and current capacity up to 12 amps maximum. This plug housing integrates with the POWER TRIPLE LOCK system's three-point locking mechanism, providing secure connections with connector position assurance (CPA) and terminal position assurance (TPA) features for reliable performance in high-temperature power and signal applications.
