DESCRIPTION
5205865-1 is a 9-position D-subminiature plug connector designed for right-angle PCB mounting applications. It features a shell size 1 with a front metal shell construction made of steel with zinc plating, and a footprint of 13.84 mm (0.545 in). The connector supports PCB thicknesses of 0.062 in (1.57 mm) and utilizes thru-hole mounting with a mounting hole diameter of 3.05 mm (0.120 in). Contacts are brass with gold flash plating on the mating area and tin over nickel plating on solder tails, with a post size of 0.64 mm (0.025 in) and termination post length of 3.18 mm (0.125 in). The thermoplastic housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability, and the connector is RoHS/ELV compliant with wave solder capability up to 265°C.
