DESCRIPTION
5208008-2 is an HD-20 all-plastic straight posted subminiature D connector plug from the AMPLIMITE series, designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector features 25 contact positions (Shell Size 3) with size 20 DF posted pin contacts and duplex gold plating (.000030 [0.00076] gold on mating end, tin on termination end) with nickel underplating. The connector has overall dimensions of A: 2.095 in [53.21 mm], B: 1.852 in [47.04 mm], and C: 0.420 in [10.67 mm], with a post length of 0.125 in [3.18 mm] suitable for PC board thickness of 0.062-0.093 in [1.58-2.36 mm]. The housing is made from UL 94V-0 rated flame retardant thermoplastic in black, and the connector is compatible with any size 20 or 22 subminiature D connectors dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308. This RoHS compliant connector is ideal for general-purpose electronic interconnect applications requiring reliable signal transmission.
