DESCRIPTION
5208010-2 is an HD-20 all-plastic straight posted subminiature D connector plug from the AMPLIMITE series, designed for PCB mounting applications. This connector features 50 contact positions (Shell Size 5) with size 20 DF posted pin contacts preloaded, and includes .120 [3.05] standard mounting holes. Key dimensions include A: 2.643 [67.13], B: 2.406 [61.11], and C: .527 [13.39], with a post length of .125 [3.18] recommended for PC board thickness of .062-.093 [1.58-2.36] max. The housing is constructed from UL 94V-0 rated flame retardant thermoplastic in black, and the pin contacts feature duplex plating with .000030 [0.00076] gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end with nickel underplating. This connector is intermediate with any size 20 or 22 subminiature D connectors dimensionally complying with MIL-C-24308, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic interconnect applications.
