DESCRIPTION
The 5-2306317-5 is a SOLARLOK PV Edge decentralized junction box designed for traditional mid-panel applications with East-West foil orientation using Omega-Clip mounting and fixing tape. This clamping and non-potted junction box is rated for 1500V DC (UL and TUV/IEC approved) with a standard current rating of 15A and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +115°C. The unit features an integrated PV4-S interface, IP68 waterproof protection (7m/24 hours), and a humidity control vent, enabling quick installation without potting curing delays. The housing is constructed from polyhenyl ethers (PPE) and polystyrene (PS) materials, providing durability and thermal management. This junction box is ideal for building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV), bifacial solar panels, and half-cell solar panel applications where reliable electrical isolation and rapid deployment are essential.
