DESCRIPTION
5-353293-2 is a mass termination (MT) receptacle housing for the 1.5 mm pitch AMP Mini CT connector series, designed for wire-to-board interconnect applications. This housing accommodates unstripped wire insertion with preloaded IDC contacts, supporting AWG 26–28 wire gauges and available in single-row configurations from 2 to 20 positions. The connector operates at 50 V (AC/DC) with current ratings of 2 A for 26 AWG and 1 A for 28 AWG, across a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C. The MT approach enables time savings through automation and high-speed assembly, while maintaining compatibility with all standard AMP Mini CT headers.
