DESCRIPTION
The 5-353293-3 is a mass termination (MT) receptacle housing for the 1.5 mm pitch AMP Mini CT connector series, designed for wire-to-board interconnect applications. This housing accommodates unstripped wire inserted directly into preloaded IDC contacts, eliminating the need for manual crimping and enabling high-speed automated assembly. It supports AWG 26–28 wire gauges and is available in configurations from 2 to 20 single-row positions, with a rated voltage of 50 V (AC/DC) and operating current of 2 A at 26 AWG and 1 A at 28 AWG. The connector features a compact 1.5 mm pitch design with kinks for self-retention on boards and mates with standard AMP Mini CT headers including thru-hole and SMT mounting styles. This product is ideal for business equipment, industrial machines, IoT/smart devices, and PC/printer applications where rapid harness assembly and reliable discrete wire interconnect are required.
