DESCRIPTION
5552221-1 is a 24-position CHAMP series plug connector designed for printed circuit board mounting applications. This vertical-mount connector features a 2.16 mm (0.085 in) centerline spacing with gold-plated mating contacts on a copper alloy base and tin-plated solder tails. The thermoplastic glass-filled housing is UL 94V-0 rated for flammability and includes screwlock mating connector locks for secure connections. The connector is RoHS/ELV compliant and supports wave solder processes up to 265°C, making it suitable for various PCB assembly methods. Common applications include high-density interconnect systems requiring reliable, secure connections in industrial and commercial electronic equipment.
