DESCRIPTION

5745928-2 is an AMPLIMITE HD-20 subminiature D-connector receptacle designed for high-density applications requiring 25 contact positions. This straight-posted receptacle features fixed female screwlocks for secure mating and is configured with standard mounting holes for PCB integration. The connector has a shell size of 3 with overall dimensions of 2.088 inches (53.04 mm) length and 1.852 inches (47.04 mm) width, with a profile depth of 0.509 inches (12.93 mm). The contacts are phosphor bronze with contact finish plating code A, consisting of 0.000030 inches (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, with a minimum 0.000050 inches (0.00127 mm) nickel underplate across the entire contact. This receptacle is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact interconnection in instrumentation, data acquisition, and industrial control systems where space constraints and high contact density are critical.
