DESCRIPTION
5746613-1 is an 8-position DIP plug ribbon cable connector designed for .050 inch [1.27 mm] pitch ribbon cable applications. It features a .100 x .300 inch [2.54 x 7.62 mm] mounting center configuration with Duplex contact plating and flat tuning fork style IDC contact design. The connector has dimensions of A: .350 inch [8.89 mm], B: .488 inch [12.40 mm], and C: .300 inch [7.62 mm], with a height after termination of .253 inch [6.43 mm]. The contacts are copper alloy with tin plating over nickel underplate, and the connector is compatible with 28 AWG stranded or 26, 28, and 30 AWG solid wire ribbon cables. This RoHS compliant connector is suitable for PCB interconnect applications requiring reliable ribbon cable termination.
