DESCRIPTION

The 5748907-2 is a 9-position AMPLIMITE subminiature D-sub receptacle connector manufactured by TE Connectivity, designed for right-angle PCB mounting applications. It features a shell size 1 configuration with dimensions of 1.213 inches (30.81 mm) in length and 0.984 inches (24.99 mm) in width, and is equipped with 4-40 threaded inserts for secure board mounting. The connector utilizes gold flash plating on the mating end with tin on the termination end, and the entire contact is nickel underplated for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance. This receptacle is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts and is recommended for use with a PCB board thickness of 0.062 inches (1.58 mm). The connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact interconnections in industrial equipment, telecommunications, and data acquisition systems where space constraints and robust electrical performance are essential.
