DESCRIPTION
5749621-3 is a 28-position AMPLIMITE .050 Series cable plug connector designed for high-density D-subminiature interconnect applications. This connector features latchblocks for secure mating and comes with standard termination covers, utilizing a compact .050 x .100 inch (1.27 x 2.54 mm) centerline grid spacing. The housing and covers are made from thermoplastic rated 94V-0, with phosphor bronze contacts featuring duplex plating with minimum .000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end. The connector is compatible with 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire, solid or 7 strand, with insulation diameter of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This connector is ideal for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density connections and requires a backshell kit for complete assembly.
