DESCRIPTION
5786143-1 is a 9-position D-subminiature receptacle connector from the AMPLIMITE HD 20 product series, designed for standard board mount applications. This vertical PCB mount connector features a front metal shell construction with steel shell material and tin over copper plating, along with female screwlocks for secure mating. The connector utilizes ACTION (compliant) press-fit posts for PCB retention and supports PCB thicknesses of 0.093 in (2.36 mm) and 0.1 in (3.18 mm). Contact mating areas are gold-plated (30 microinches) over copper alloy contacts, while solder tail contacts feature tin over nickel plating with a post length of 5.80 mm. The nylon housing is rated UL 94V-0 for flammability, and the product is RoHS/ELV compliant, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic interconnect applications.
