DESCRIPTION

5-794619-2 is a surface-mount dual-row header connector designed for the Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system, supporting 2-24 position configurations with a 3mm (0.118 inch) centerline pitch. This header features SMT (surface mount technology) compatibility with multiple hold-down options including SMT hold-down, plastic hold-down, and metal hold-down provisions, along with pick-and-place pad support for automated assembly. The connector accommodates wire sizes from 30-26 AWG (0.05-0.15 mm²) to 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9 mm²) with insulation diameters up to 2.79 mm, and supports current ratings up to 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. This header is ideal for wire-to-board applications in compact electronic assemblies requiring reliable dual-row connectivity with surface-mount manufacturing processes.
