DESCRIPTION
5-794638-4 is a double-row header connector in the TE Connectivity Micro MATE-N-LOK 3mm connector system designed for wire-to-board connections. This connector features a 2-24 position dual-row configuration with 3mm (0.118 inch) centerline spacing and supports vertical angle mounting with both surface mount technology (SMT) and through-hole board attachment options. The header is compatible with 22-18 AWG (0.3-0.9 mm²) wire with insulation diameters up to 2.79mm, rated for maximum current of 5 Amps per line at 250 Volts AC/DC. It includes SMT hold-down, metal hold-down, and plastic hold-down options, along with retention features on the solder tail and pick-and-place pad support for automated assembly. This connector is ideal for applications requiring reliable, compact multi-position interconnections in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and automotive systems.
