DESCRIPTION

58499-1 is a PRO-CRIMPER III hand tool assembly consisting of PRO-CRIMPER III hand tool frame 354940-1 and die assembly 58483-1, designed for crimping ferrules of SMB straight cable plug connectors. The tool features a stationary jaw and handle, a moving jaw, a moving handle, and an adjustable ratchet mechanism that ensures full crimping. The die assembly forms three crimping chambers with openings of 2.667 mm [.105], 3.251 mm [.128], and 3.835 mm [.151] for accommodating various flexible coaxial cable sizes including RG/U 178, 196, 174, 179, 187, 188, and 316. This commercial-grade tool is approved for field installation, repair, maintenance work, and industrial, commercial, or institutional applications where occasional use and low volume crimping operations are required.
