DESCRIPTION
605980-1 is a black fusion tape designed for electrical insulation and moisture sealing in bundling and sealing applications. The tape is self-adhering and self-curing, bonding into a permanent insulator within 24 hours at room temperature, with a width of 0.750 inches (19.05 mm) and a thickness of 0.020 inches (0.51 mm). It features excellent electrical properties, water resistance, ozone resistance, and corrosion resistance, operating continuously from -40°F (-40°C) to 212°F (100°C), with short-term capability to 266°F (130°C). The product is commonly used in electrical termination protection, moisture sealing, and corrosion prevention in harsh environments where durable, flexible insulation is required.
