DESCRIPTION
61314-4 is a socket contact designed for use in commercial pin and socket connector systems. This contact is manufactured from phosphor bronze with a pre-tin plating finish and is supplied in strip form for automated crimping applications. It accommodates wire sizes from 24 to 18 AWG (0.8 to 2 mm²) with insulation diameters ranging from 0.060 to 0.100 inches (1.52 to 2.54 mm). The contact is compatible with HDM applicator part number 466320-13 or 466320-23 and hand tool part number 91512-1 or 91528-14. This socket contact is commonly used in soft shell connector housings for various electronic and electrical applications requiring reliable wire-to-board or wire-to-wire connections.
