DESCRIPTION

641148-2 is a closed-end MTA-156 connector designed for 18 AWG wire (0.8–0.9 mm²) with 0.000015 inch (0.00038 mm) gold plating over nickel finish. The connector features phosphor bronze contacts with a tin-plated base and gold-plated mating surfaces, providing excellent corrosion resistance and reliable electrical performance. It is rated for 600 VAC, 7 amp maximum current, with low-level contact resistance of 7 mO maximum and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VAC. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and is commonly used in industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and power distribution applications where durability and consistent electrical performance are essential.
